On July 15th, 2023, Dr. (Helen) Hong Xu, University Librarian of Duke Kunshan University (DKU), was invited to attend the “Gu Yanwu Day in Kunshan” event to celebrate the 410th anniversary of the great Chinese scholar’s birth.
On July 14, 2023, Duke Kunshan University (DKU) Library welcomed the visitors from the Office of Information Technology (OIT) at Westlake University.
Dr. (Helen) Hong Xu, University Librarian of Duke Kunshan University, has been elected as a Standing Committee member on the IFLA Library Buildings and Equipment Section for the term 2023-2027.
On April 21, 2023, DKU Library held the film screening and discussion of Mary Elizabeth Wood (《韦棣华》), followed by the film advisor Dr. Huanwen Cheng’s commentary.
On April 19, 2023, Mr. Zhou Tongsheng (周通生) and Professor Paul Stanley delivered a wonderful interdisciplinary sharing session on the Guqin.
DKU Library held 2023 Book Fair on April 19-21, 2023, which was a great success.
