On the afternoon of December 5, 2024, Duke Kunshan University (DKU) Library, in collaboration with the Student Accessibility Services Office, hosted a special lecture titled “Library Services for People with Dyslexia: Practices and Reflections.”
On November 14-16, 2024, the 2024 Sino-Foreign Joint Venture University Library Annual Conference was successfully held at the HKUST(GZ). Ten librarians and staff members from the Duke Kunshan University (DKU) Library attended the conference.
On October 20, 2024, Duke Kunshan University Library co-hosted the lecture titled “The Cultivation of Reading and Creative Abilities in Contemporary Chinese Novels,” featuring renowned novelist and literary scholar, Dr. Wei Fang, Professor at Soochow University.
On September 19, Noah Pickus, Associate Provost at Duke University and Dean for Academic Strategy and Learning Innovation at DKU, delivered a Faculty Author Talk on his newly published book, “The New Global Universities: Reinventing Education in the 21st Century.”
On Monday, September 16, 2024, Ryder Kouba, Archives and Special Collections Librarian of Duke Kunshan University, visited the National Archives of Thailand.

DKU Library has an opening for Data and Visualization Services Librarian and is hiring multiple Library Student Assistants for Fall 2024.
Unveiled on August 5, 2024, DKU Library Open Day and the “Guarding the Stars Among Us with Vibrant Suzhou Metro Line 11” special exhibition features paintings by children with autism. The exhibition, located in the Library Lobby, will run through Monday, August 19.
On June 4, 2024, the esteemed scholar of bibliography, Mr. Jin Shen, visited Duke Kunshan University Library, accompanied by Mr. Xueming Qi and Mr. Jianhua Wu from Yushan Cottage (玉山草堂).
