Creating digital maps and using them to understand the world is an increasingly valuable skill in every discipline. GIS, or Geographic Information Systems, is a field of study that uses advanced digital tools to make creating and processing maps more accessible and more useful than ever before. In this session, learn how to use two popular tools to create your own maps which you can use for study, research or just personal exploration of the world.
