ArcGIS Online is a web-based mapping and analysis tool that allows you to create, analyze, and share interactive maps using spatial data. Designed for absolute beginners, this workshop will guide you through creating your first digital map, from importing and processing data to visualizing it in ArcGIS Online. There is no requirement for devices – both Windows and Mac users are welcome.

By the end of this workshop, you will have an understanding of:
• Digital mapping, geospatial data, and spatial analysis;
• NetID login, the interface, and core tools of ArcGIS Online;
• Importing, loading, and visualizing spatial data from various file types;
• Where to find additional learning resources.
