Statistical analysis is the process of collecting and evaluating measurable and verifiable (aka. quantitative or numerical) data, such as revenues, market share, and wages, to understand business behavior and performance. This analysis type employs statistical, mathematical, or computational techniques to examine relationships between variables within large-scale datasets that are difficult to analyze manually.
SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) is a statistical software widely used for analyzing survey data and conducting hypothesis testing. It supports a range of statistical techniques, from basic descriptives to advanced multivariate analyses.
Stata is a complete, integrated statistical package that provides everything you need for data analysis, data management, and graphics. Stata/SE is the general-purpose version of Stata for large datasets. If you need a different version of the software, you will need to purchase through the Prof+ Plan.
Purchasing a Stata license will give you access to the latest version of Stata/SE for installation or renewal on a single computer.
