DKU Library has summarized the borrow records for the undergraduate Class of 2022, last updated on May 23, 2022.
For students who have spent semesters at Duke University, we are unfortunately unable to collect their records. The report also cannot reflect the situation for international students during the past two years.
Checkouts by Title

Some of the popular titles include Head First Python, Art in China, 《三体》and《平凡的世界》.
The data does not include any textbooks borrowed from the course reserve.
Checkouts by Subject Area

Literature-related disciplines are by far the most popular among our graduating students, followed by Psychology, History and Mathematics.
The Impact of COVID-19
International students have been hit especially hard by the pandemic. The number of books loaned to them (marked in blue) after 2020 is significantly lower than before.
By contrast, loans to Chinese students (marked in orange) are slowly returning to their pre-pandemic numbers.
