From Les Misérables to Assassin’s Creed, historical maps are essential background elements. Understanding how to access and read historical maps can help with scholarly and creative projects alike. This workshop will introduce you to some popular databases for historical maps and teach you methods for interpreting historical maps, including the US Public Land Survey System.
