This workshop will work you through the process of using Python to deal with a dataset, clean the data and visualize it. It is recommended for students with some or a little experience with Python or other programming languages.

During this workshop, we will give an intro to:

  • Reading in a dataset using Pandas
  • Data manipulation using Pandas
  • Introduction/conversion to Numpy
  • Simple visualizations

To prepare for this workshop, you will need:

  • Anaconda
  • A few python libraries: Numpy, Pandas, seaborn, matplotlib Jupyter notebook
