LIB 2001
Faculty members are welcome to join a faculty-library lunch session scheduled for Thursday, March 20 from 12pm to 1pm at the LIB 2001 (Lecture Hall). Academic libraries have long been dedicated to providing access to scholarly information, and with the rise of open access, they find themselves at a critical juncture. Open access holds the potential to democratize knowledge, making research freely available to all, but it also introduces new dynamics and challenges for libraries. From developing institutional policies to negotiating with commercial publishers, academic libraries are essential in shaping how open access evolves.
Please note that this workshop is open to faculty only.
