For a bird, the city is an invisible wall of reflected clouds. What we call a masterpiece of architecture, they see as a limitless horizon.

DKU Library is pleased to invite Dr. Binbin Li, Associate Professor of Environmental Science, to deliver a talk titled “Bird Collisions and Us”. Together, we will explore the fatal intersection of modern architecture and avian life, and our role in making the unseen, seen.

This talk is part of the ongoing exhibition A Mirror to the Sky: Understanding and Preventing Bird Collisions. We welcome you to visit the exhibition on site at Library Lobby (West).

Event details:

  • March 23rd, Monday, 16:00-17:00pm (CST)
