With our personal and work lives becoming overwhelmingly digital, safeguarding your data is key for protecting memories, research, and institutional history. This workshop will provide practical skills to students, staff, and faculty on how they can better preserve their digital records at home, at work, or with DKU student organizations and projects.

The workshop will also discuss the DKU Archives’ ongoing digital preservation efforts, while highlighting basic principles and resources available which attendees can use to better manage and organize their digital records as well as proper storage techniques. No prior experience is required, just bring your curiosity.
