How to get to Duke Kunshan University

Bordering Shanghai to its east and Suzhou its west, Duke Kunshan University is well connected to major cities in China and can be easily reached by air, car and train.

By Air

Pudong Airport

Take Taxi – 120mins, Cost USD 65 (around 422RMB)

Hongqiao Airport

Two options: 

  • Take Taxi – 60mins, Cost USD 50  (around 325 RMB)

  • 1. Walk to Hongqiao Railway Station – 20mins

    2. Take High Speed Train to Kunshan South Station – 20mins, Cost USD 5 (around 30 RMB)

    3. Take Taxi to Duke Kunshan campus – 25mins, Cost USD 10  (around 65 RMB)

By Car

From Shanghai

Highway G2 – Highway S5 Bacheng Exit – Turn off left to Bacheng – Turn off left to Zuchongzhi Road – Turn off left to Chuan Shi Road – Wuhan Daxue Road – Duke Kunshan

From Suzhou

Highway G312 – To Bacheng Direction – Gucheng Road – Xiaolin Road –Turn off left to Zuchongzhi Road – Turn off right to Chuan Shi Road – Wuhan Daxue Road – Duke Kunshan

By Train

From Shanghai

  1. High Speed Train to Kunshan South Station – 20mins, Cost USD 5 (around 30 RMB)
  2. Take Taxi to Duke Kunshan – 25mins, Cost USD 10  (around 65 RMB)

From Beijing

  1. High Speed Train to Kunshan South Station – 5-6 hours, Cost USD 90 (around 585 RMB)
  2. Take Taxi to Duke Kunshan – 25mins, Cost USD 10 (around 65 RMB)

* DKU shuttle bus runs between Kunshan South Station and DKU campus daily several times. Participants are welcome to take the DKU shuttle bus at Kunshan South station. 

We will arrange a shuttle departing from Duke Kunshan University for Kunshan South Station at 5pm on Oct.28.

* To get to Duke Kunshan campus from Kunshan South Station by bus, please see following bus routes:

  • Route 31, 23 stops (70mins), get off at Duke Kunshan University – Cost 1.5RMB
  • Route 22, 28 stops (85mins), get off at Duke Kunshan University – Cost 1.5RMB

*To get to Times Hotel from Kunshan South Station by bus, please see following bus routes:

  • Route 22, 24 stops (80mins),  get off at CPC party School (市委党校)
  • Route 31, 20 stops (65 mins), get off at Qinghua Science and Technology Park (清华科技园), need to walk around 1km after getting off the bus
  • Route 159, 6 stops (30mins), get off at Qinghua Science and Technology Park (清华科技园), need to walk around 1km after getting off the bus

*To get to Duke Kunshan Campus from Times Hotel by bus, please see following bus routes:

  • Route 19 or Route 22, 4 stops (5-7mins),  get on at CPC party School (市委党校) and get off at Duke Kunshan University
